I've been writing since, well, I was old enough to hold a pencil. It's all I’ve ever done—all I've ever wanted to do. I began my career as a broadcast journalist, but quickly discovered that they kinda frown on creativity in the newsroom. So, I went into advertising and never looked back. I've served agencies of all sizes and clients in a wide range of industries. I've been a writer, producer and creative director—but never once have I dreamed of being a novelist. Sure, you can tell a heck of a story in 800 pages. But can you tell it effectively in a 30-second TV spot, a two-page data sheet or on a tiny Web banner? That's the real test, and what I love most about my work for Minds On. Taking a client’s unique story and working with talented people to nail a strategically killer concept that makes sense—and makes an impact.
